Who we are
Vibe is an iPhone app for creating photo carousels and stories. It is run by Michele Coppola and Luca Langella, based in Italy. This policy covers the Vibe app and its pages on our website.

Information Vibe uses
Your photos and projects
You choose photos to import using Apple’s photo picker. Vibe edits them on your device. Your projects, text, layouts, and thumbnails are saved locally; Vibe does not upload your project photos to its servers. You choose whether to save finished images to Apple Photos.
Optional app analytics
If you choose Allow, Vibe sends optional analytics to PostHog’s EU service. This includes a random installation ID, app and operating-system versions, and information about app use such as onboarding choices, templates viewed or selected, editing features used, export results, and purchase or restore flows. The ID can connect events from the same installation over time, so it is pseudonymous rather than anonymous.
Analytics does not include your photos, filenames, photo details, project names, edited text, receipts, or advertising ID. Vibe does not record your screen or automatically capture taps or text.
App and website requests
Downloading templates and artwork sends ordinary network information, such as your IP address, to the content host. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments. Our static website has no added analytics or advertising scripts; its host processes standard technical request logs.
How we use information
Vibe uses information stored on your device to create, save, and reopen projects, and to save finished images to Photos. Network requests deliver templates and artwork. Apple handles purchases; Vibe checks your subscription entitlement on your device.
If you allow analytics, we use it to understand which parts of onboarding and editing work well, identify failed exports, and improve the app. We use support messages to answer you and investigate issues.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, service delivery relies on providing the app, analytics relies on your consent, support and security rely on legitimate interests, and legally required records rely on legal obligations. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time.
Your choices and how long we keep information
- You choose which photos to import and whether to allow saving to Photos.
- Analytics is optional. Choose Not now, or switch off Share app analytics in Privacy & Analytics. Turning it off stops future collection and removes unsent events from the device; it does not erase events already received.
- You can delete projects in Vibe. This does not delete originals or exports in Apple Photos. Removing Vibe’s app data removes local projects. Apple device backups follow your Apple settings.
Projects remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app’s data. Analytics events are retained for up to 12 months after collection; support correspondence is kept for up to 12 months after resolution and unneeded attachments are deleted within 30 days. Service providers may retain technical request and security logs according to their standard policies.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask for reasonable information to verify and handle your request.
Vibe does not link analytics IDs to an email or Apple account, so we may need additional information to locate analytics events. We cannot access projects stored only on your device. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local supervisory authority, including Italy’s Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Teenagers and children
Vibe is intended for teenagers and adults. Its 4+ App Store content rating is not an age check or a way to verify consent to analytics. If you believe a child has given us information that should not have been collected, contact us at [email protected].
